During my Masters degree, I was inspired after researching the WEEE Directive (Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment). It discusses the need for manufacturers of electronic products to pay attention to product life cycles, and to take a ‘cradle-to-cradle’ approach.
Looking at my own personal electronic footprint, I created a series of posters that illustrated every piece of electronic equipment I owned or used in my flat, that could ultimately all end up going to landfill.

This work was undertaken as part of the Masters programme in Graphic Communication at The University Of Salford (I keep meaning to do an updated electronic footprint, but I’m a little apprehensive about confronting the amount of future WEEE I have amassed since).
